E-commerce & Warehouse Operations Manager

Saras Foods UK Ltd is looking for a hands-on manager to take responsibility for our daily warehouse and e-commerce operations. We sell through Amazon, our own website and other online marketplaces.

You will lead a team of approximately 10 staff and make sure orders, deliveries, stock and customer queries are handled accurately and on time. We need someone who can run the operation independently, make sound day-to-day decisions and keep the director informed without needing constant supervision.

What you’ll do

• Plan the daily workload, assign tasks, train staff and manage attendance and performance for a team of approximately 10.
• Oversee orders from receipt through picking, packing, label printing, dispatch and courier collection. Step in and do these tasks yourself when needed.
• Manage incoming supplier deliveries: check quantities and condition, record stock and resolve discrepancies.
• Keep stock records accurate, organise stock counts and rotation, identify shortages and order replenishment stock from suppliers.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised warehouse, with clear standards for the whole team.
• Monitor Amazon and other marketplace orders, respond to customer messages and resolve delivery, return and order issues.
• Investigate eligible Amazon refund and return cases, prepare supporting evidence and file SAFE-T claims where appropriate.
• Track dispatch deadlines, order accuracy, customer response times and other daily performance measures.
• Identify problems early, take action and provide the director with a concise update on results and issues requiring a decision.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience managing e-commerce fulfilment or warehouse operations, including direct responsibility for staff.
• Hands-on experience processing Amazon orders, responding to customer messages and creating shipping labels.
• Confidence managing incoming deliveries, stock accuracy and supplier reordering.
• The ability to prioritise a busy dispatch operation, solve problems and hold the team to clear standards.
• Good written communication, attention to detail and confidence using order management and inventory systems.

Experience with Linnworks or a similar system, multiple online marketplaces and Amazon SAFE-T claims would be an advantage.

This is an operational, hands-on role. It will suit someone who enjoys leading a team while remaining closely involved in the daily work.
