E-commerce Application Support & Rollout Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented E-commerce Application Support & Rollout Engineer to support the stability, operation, and rollout of our global e-commerce platforms.

The role combines incident management, technical troubleshooting, bug fixing, testing, ticket handling, and webstore rollout support. The ideal candidate will have a solid development background in PHP and Symfony, with experience in e-commerce platforms and the ability to investigate issues, work directly with code, and coordinate with global technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Handling: Monitor, triage, investigate, and resolve incoming e-commerce incidents and support requests; take ownership of Level 1 & Level 2 issues, including smaller code or configuration fixes where appropriate.
• Technical Troubleshooting & Fixes: Troubleshoot PHP/Symfony applications, front-end issues, integrations, configuration, and product/content-related problems.
• Escalation Workflow: Escalate complex issues to the appropriate development team, contractor, or platform specialist with clear reproduction steps, technical findings, and supporting information.
• Testing & Validation: Reproduce bugs, perform root cause analysis, validate fixes, and conduct functional and regression testing during releases.
• Webstore Rollouts: Support international webstore launches, including content validation, storefront testing, technical readiness checks, go-live coordination, and post-launch stabilization.
• Documentation & Improvement: Maintain structured ticket records and technical documentation, contribute to the internal knowledge base, and identify recurring issues and sustainable improvements.
• Communication & Collaboration: Provide clear and timely updates and work closely with global e-commerce, development, marketing, IT, contractors, and regional teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in web development, application support, technical support, or e-commerce environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of PHP and Symfony, with the ability to read, debug, troubleshoot, and implement fixes in an existing production codebase.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Magento / Adobe Commerce, OroCommerce, Shopify Plus, or similar.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end troubleshooting.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web design.
• Experience with bug reproduction, root cause analysis, testing, and regression validation.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs, Git, SQL, and Linux.
• Experience troubleshooting integrations between e-commerce, ERP, PIM, CRM, or other business systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively across international teams and time zones.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of issues through resolution and closure.

Additional expertise and qualifications

• Experience with OroCommerce, Magento, Pimcore, WordPress, or other CMS/PIM platforms.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and CI/CD workflows.

Experience with ticketing or issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar
