Role Description

The E-Commerce Operations Associate is a hands-on position focused primarily on testing, repairing, preparing, and shipping laptops and other electronic equipment, along with maintaining an organized inventory and warehouse workspace.

This role involves working directly with electronics, performing basic repairs, preparing products for resale, managing inventory, and assisting with daily order fulfillment.

While the position supports our e-commerce operations, the majority of your time will be spent working directly with products rather than sitting behind a desk.

No prior electronics repair or e-commerce experience is required. We're willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Laptop Testing & Repair

• Inspect and test laptops, desktops, and other electronic equipment.
• Perform basic laptop repairs, including replacing batteries, RAM, hard drives, and other components.
• Identify hardware issues and troubleshoot common problems.
• Install operating systems and prepare computers for resale.

Prepacking & Shipping

• Clean, inspect, and grade equipment based on its condition.
• Prepare and prepack laptops and electronics for efficient order fulfillment.
• Safely package products to prevent damage during shipping.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Print shipping labels and assist with daily shipping operations.
• Maintain an organized packing and shipping area.

Inventory & Warehouse Organization

• Sort, label, and organize laptops, electronics, parts, and accessories.
• Track inventory and update product information in our systems.
• Maintain organized storage areas, shelving, and workstations.
• Assist with receiving, counting, and processing incoming inventory.
• Help improve warehouse organization and operational efficiency.

E-Commerce Support (Secondary)

• Assist with creating and updating eBay product listings.
• Verify product specifications, condition, and inventory accuracy.
• Help monitor and process online orders.
• Perform basic data entry and inventory tracking using Excel and other software.

What We're Looking For

• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Able to work independently and stay productive.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Able to lift and move products weighing approximately 40–60 lbs.
• Previous electronics repair, warehouse, or shipping experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

$12.00–$15.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
