Who we are

A Canadian custom apparel and print group, production in Western Canada and Ontario, shipping nationwide. Two of our brands are DTF transfer stores on Shopify: an established regional store that's up 140% this year on organic alone, and a newer national store built around a clear wedge against US sellers. Same product, same production, two markets. You'll get the full picture, numbers and all, at interview stage.

The sites, catalog, automation and customer service are built and mostly run themselves. The owner has been the only person pushing growth. That's the bottleneck. This role removes it.

The role

You own sales growth on both stores across three channels, and you use AI to do the work of a team.

Organic: Weekly content on location pages and blogs. Comparison, FAQ and how-to pieces that rank nationally. Keep our schema and AI-search layer current. Be a real, useful presence where small clothing brands and decorators talk.

Paid: Take over a live Google Ads Search account and run it day to day. Then build the national store's first campaign from nothing: you decide the structure, the budget and the pacing, and you defend the reasoning with numbers. There's no preset spend. Figuring out the right amount is part of the job.

Email: Build the Klaviyo program from zero on both stores. Welcome and sample-order flows, abandoned cart, reorder reminders, campaigns to an existing customer base of about 1,000, and a sample-to-repeat sequence for the national store.

Conversion: Propose and run tests on the ordering tool, product pages and checkout.

Reporting: Weekly, per store: revenue, new customers, sessions, conversion rate, cost per acquisition. You keep a growth backlog and it never empties.

How we work:

You get your own Claude seat with our business context, brand voice and marketing playbook loaded, plus connected access to Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Ads and Search Console. You ship changes yourself and post them for the owner to approve. The expectation is that you draft, analyse, report and plan with AI every day and spend your own time on judgment, testing and the parts a human has to do.

What you won't do:

Order handling, customer service inboxes, automation building, theme development. Those are covered.

You:

• 3+ years growing a Shopify store, DTC or B2B, with before-and-after numbers you can walk through in detail.

• Hands-on in Google Ads Search, Klaviyo and Google Search Console. You've run accounts, not assisted on them.

• Daily AI user. ChatGPT, Claude or similar is part of how you work, not something you tried once.

• Clean, plain English. No filler, no corporate voice.

• You generate your own work. After month one nobody hands you a list.

• Available 1pm to 9pm SAST to overlap Canadian hours.

• Bonus: print, apparel, maker or small-brand background.

Pay and terms:

R30,000 to R40,000 per month based on track record, plus a quarterly bonus on new customers and revenue per store. Full-time hours, independent contractor. 90-day paid trial with three targets agreed on day one. Direct line to the owner, no layers, fast decisions.
