E-Commerce Host

About the role

Summer Technic Corp. is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused E-Commerce Host to join our dynamic retail team. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As an E-Commerce Host, you will be the vital link between our online customers and our physical retail operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience across both digital and in-store channels. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales through our e-commerce platform and retail presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor e-commerce platform activities, including product listings, inventory updates, and order processing
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email, chat, and other digital communication channels
• Process online orders and ensure accurate fulfilment and timely delivery to customers
• Coordinate between the online store and physical retail location to manage stock levels and product availability
• Handle customer complaints and returns with professionalism and efficiency, working towards satisfactory resolutions
• Update product information, descriptions, and pricing on the e-commerce platform to ensure accuracy
• Generate and analyse reports on e-commerce performance, sales trends, and customer feedback
• Assist in the development and execution of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives for online sales
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movements
• Provide support during peak shopping periods and special promotional events

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; some tertiary education in retail, business, or a related field is advantageous
• Proven experience in retail, customer service, or e-commerce environments
• Strong proficiency in using computer systems, e-commerce platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage customers professionally
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders and managing inventory information
• Positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints with empathy and patience
• Basic mathematical skills for order processing and cash handling
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Experience with inventory management systems or order management software is preferred
• Knowledge of retail operations and supply chain processes is a plus
