What they need
E-Commerce Manager
Amazon Operations & Digital Marketing | Team of 8 | Report to Founder
About Us
We are a highly efficient, fast-growing cross-border eCommerce company with an agile team of 27 professionals. Specialized in children's apparel, we operate across major global Amazon marketplaces with over 4,000 active SKUs and generating over HKD 200M in annual revenue.
Our culture is deeply rooted in hard work, high execution, and a pragmatic "get-your-hands-dirty" mindset. We believe true leaders lead from the front, driving growth alongside their team.
Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, execution-driven E-Commerce Manager to lead a team of 8 across Amazon operations and digital marketing. You are not a pure specialist — you are a team leader who understands the full Amazon ecosystem, from listing optimisation and PPC to cross-functional collaboration with purchasing, inventory, and logistics.
You will report directly to the Founder and play a key role in building the operational systems and team capabilities that will drive our next stage of growth. If you are someone who takes pride in both growing a team and getting things done, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Directly manage a team of 8 across Amazon operations and digital marketing, including setting clear KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews, and maintaining a high-accountability team culture.
- Identify capability gaps within the team and actively coach and develop members into future senior contributors.
2. Amazon Marketplace Management
- Oversee end-to-end Amazon marketplace operations across multiple international sites (US, UK, DE, FR and beyond), including listing strategy, keyword optimisation, conversion rate tracking, account health, and promotional planning.
- Monitor sales performance and rankings across all marketplaces and make timely pricing and promotional adjustments to maximise revenue.
- Resolve workflow bottlenecks and implement project management tools to eliminate communication silos across the team.
3. Digital Marketing & PPC Oversight
- Supervise the digital marketing team's Amazon PPC campaigns (SP/SB/SD), ensuring TACoS targets are met and ad spend is optimised.
- Review and challenge the team's advertising strategies — you do not need to execute campaigns yourself, but you must understand PPC logic deeply enough to lead, evaluate, and if necessary, step in temporarily when team members are unavailable.
- Track and report on key marketing metrics including TACoS, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate.
4. Operational Efficiency & AI Integration
- Champion the adoption of AI tools across the team's daily workflows — including listing copywriting, image briefing, PPC analysis, and operational reporting — to systematically reduce manual workload and improve output quality.
- Identify and implement process improvements that eliminate repetitive tasks and free the team to focus on higher-value activities.
- Establish clear SOPs for all key operational processes to ensure consistency and reduce dependency on individual team members.
5. Cost Control & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Protect bottom-line profitability by optimising key cost levers: FBA shipment planning, return rate reduction, TACoS management, and storage fee optimisation.
- Work closely with purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure accurate sales forecasting and zero-gap FBA replenishment planning.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with 6–8 years of hands-on eCommerce experience, including at least 3–4 years managing an eCommerce team of 5 or more people.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of Amazon Marketplace operations across multiple international marketplaces — including Seller Central, FBA logistics, listing optimisation, and account health management.
- Solid understanding of Amazon PPC (SP/SB/SD) logic and performance metrics (TACoS, ROAS, CTR). You do not need to be a PPC specialist, but you must be able to supervise, evaluate, and step in when needed.
- AI Mindset: Demonstrated interest in or hands-on experience with AI tools for operational workflows (e.g., copywriting, reporting, data analysis). This is a core expectation, not a bonus — we are building an AI-integrated team.
- Stability: We value candidates who have demonstrated commitment — ideally 2 or more years in each role — and who are looking to build something meaningful over the long term, not just add a title to their CV.
- Experience in fashion, apparel, or children's products — particularly managing size variations and seasonal demand cycles — is a strong advantage.
- Excellent bilingual skills in English and Chinese.
- A hands-on leader with strong analytical skills who is equally comfortable setting team direction and solving frontline problems.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package commensurate with experience, with year-end performance bonus tied directly to company results.
- 5-day work week, bank holidays, birthday leave, and comprehensive medical insurance.
- Generous staff purchase discount on our children's apparel range.
- High autonomy and direct culture — you will have the trust and space to build and run your team your way, without corporate politics.
- Direct reporting line to the Founder — a rare opportunity to operate at a senior level and develop a genuine understanding of how a high-efficiency business is run.
How to Apply
Interested parties please click Apply Now and submit your CV with your current salary, expected salary, and available start date.
