Position Overview
We are looking for a data-driven and commercially-minded E-commerce Merchandising Planner to maximize the sales potential and profitability of our digital channels. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product procurement, inventory management, and digital marketing analytics. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, planning OTB (Open-to-Buy), optimizing stock allocations across platforms, and transforming complex datasets into actionable sales strategies to accelerate our e-commerce growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Demand Planning: Develop seasonal sales, margin, and inventory plans. Monitor OTB, stock turn, and sell-through rates to ensure optimal stock levels without over-retailing or running into stockouts
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and manage weekly and monthly e-commerce commercial performance reports (including top-selling items, category performance, and regional trends)
- Workflow Automation: Utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics) and automation workflows to streamline data extraction, ensuring commercial insights are refreshed and distributed efficiently to cross-functional teams
- Campaign & Promotion Strategy: Work alongside the countries to design data-backed promotional campaigns, markdown strategies, and pricing adjustments based on real-time inventory health and consumer behavior
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, inventory planning, or commercial analytics—preferably within the apparel or fast-fashion retail sector
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Google Analytics and Power BI (or similar BI tools). You must have a proven ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate them into commercial strategies
- Technical Savvy: Advanced Excel skills are a must. Experience with data automation or workflow integration tools to optimize reporting efficiency is highly advantageous
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Solid understanding of garment manufacturing cycles, including fabric sourcing timelines, production lead times, and allocation logistics
- Mindset: Agile, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-moving digital retail environment. Strong communication skills to effectively present insights to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
