About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible E-commerce Purchaser to manage our day-to-day purchasing operations. The person will be responsible for purchasing products according to daily packing requirements, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships and terms, and ensuring products are available when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the daily packing list and identify products that need to be purchased.
• Prepare and place purchase orders with suppliers according to required quantities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability and delivery of products.
• Maintain and negotiate supplier terms, pricing, payment conditions, MOQs, and lead times.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing suppliers.
• Follow up regularly with suppliers regarding pending orders and deliveries.
• Source new suppliers when required and compare prices, quality, and terms.
• Ensure purchased products meet the required quality and quantity standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, prices, and pending orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential stock shortages to the relevant team.
• Coordinate with the warehouse/packing team to ensure purchasing is aligned with actual requirements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs while maintaining product quality.
• Resolve purchasing-related issues such as shortages, damaged products, incorrect quantities, or delayed deliveries.
• Maintain an organized supplier database and purchasing records.
• Provide daily/weekly purchasing updates to management.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or e-commerce operations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of supplier management and purchasing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with quantities and product SKUs.
• Ability to work under daily deadlines and manage multiple suppliers simultaneously.
• Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to follow up consistently and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Honest, responsible, and highly organized.
• Experience working with e-commerce products or retail procurement will be a strong advantage.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of purchasing from start to finish. They should not simply place orders—they should actively monitor requirements, follow up with suppliers, maintain good supplier terms, identify problems before they affect operations, and ensure the right products are available at the right time and cost.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
