E-Commerce Sales Executive

About Us

Pots Kitchenware is an established kitchenware retailer in George Town, Penang, serving both home users and F&B/commercial customers since 2011.

We are looking for a motivated and responsible E-Commerce Sales Executive to join our team and take care of our growing online sales channels.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage daily orders from our website and online marketplaces, ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Manage and maintain product listings, including product information, images, pricing and promotions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to online customer enquiries and help convert enquiries into sales.
• Coordinate with internal teams on stock availability, order fulfilment and customer requirements.
• Maintain and improve our online storefronts and product presentation.
• Assist with marketplace campaigns, online promotions and social media content.
• Monitor marketplace trends, competitor pricing and promotions, and suggest opportunities to improve online sales.
• Assist with simple product photography, image editing and short-form video content when required.
• Continuously look for ways to improve our e-commerce operations and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum SPM / Higher Secondary / STPM / A-Level / Pre-U or equivalent.
• Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces or online sales is preferred.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with strong digital skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop or other online marketplaces is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Comfortable using computers, online systems and digital tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Organised, responsible and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to learn, take initiative and solve problems.
• Interested in e-commerce trends and finding new ways to grow online sales.

Experience with any of the following would be a plus, but is not compulsory:

• Canva / Photoshop or other design tools
• CapCut or basic video editing
• Product photography
• Social media content creation
• Excel / Google Sheets
• AI tools such as ChatGPT
• Marketplace advertising or campaign management

Working Hours

5.5 days per week

Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 12:30pm

Who Would Do Well in This Role?

You don't necessarily need years of e-commerce experience.

We're looking for someone who is responsible, digitally comfortable, willing to learn and able to think independently.
