Basic Salary: R7,000 per month + performance bonus of up to R1,000 per month

As we grow, we are looking for motivated, sales-driven individuals who can help expand our customer base and generate sales through direct engagement and digital promotion.

The Role

We are seeking a confident, proactive E-commerce Sales Representative to promote Swift Basket, attract new customers, and drive completed orders through our online platform.

This role combines face-to-face customer acquisition with online sales and social media promotion. The successful candidate must be comfortable approaching potential customers in person, demonstrating products through our website, and generating sales through WhatsApp and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers to introduce them to Swift Basket.
• Promote products through WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Demonstrate how customers can browse products and place orders online.
• Respond to enquiries, handle objections, and follow up with interested prospects.
• Share approved promotional content, product links, and campaigns.
• Use individual sales tracking links and company reporting tools to monitor performance.
• Submit daily activity reports and participate in regular performance reviews.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication.

Performance Expectations

• Sales target: 5 qualifying sales per working day, with a monthly reference target of 110 sales over 22 working days.
• Customer engagement: Consistent prospecting, meaningful customer conversations, product demonstrations, and follow-ups.
• Digital promotion: Regular promotional activity across relevant online channels.
• Accountability: Accurate daily reporting and measurable progress against agreed targets.

Initial activity benchmarks will be explained during onboarding and reviewed as part of the performance evaluation process.

Requirements

• Strong communication, persuasion, and sales skills.
• Confidence approaching new customers and building relationships.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp and social media platforms.
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A results-driven attitude, professionalism, and a strong customer focus.
• A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.

Previous experience in sales, retail, field sales, e-commerce, digital promotion, or customer acquisition will be an advantage. Experience with fragrances, beauty products, or consumer goods is beneficial.

Remuneration

• Basic salary: R7,000 per month.
• Performance bonus: Up to R1,000 per month, subject to the agreed performance criteria.
