E Commerce Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Manage product listings, pricing, inventory, and catalog updates across the company website and e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and other relevant platforms.
• Create, update, and optimize product listings with compelling descriptions, accurate specifications, and high-quality images to enhance customer engagement.
• Implement SEO best practices by optimizing product titles, descriptions, keywords, and metadata to improve search rankings and product visibility.
• Process and track customer orders, coordinate with logistics, and ensure timely order fulfillment while handling returns, refunds, and customer queries.
• Monitor marketplace performance, analyze sales trends, conversion rates, and key performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve online sales and business growth.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and seasonal offers to maximize sales.
• Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, listing guidelines, and company standards to maintain account health and prevent penalties or suspensions.
• Prepare regular sales, inventory, and performance reports, and provide insights to support business decisions and optimize overall e-commerce operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in e-commerce operations or online marketplace management (freshers with relevant internships may also apply).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and inventory/order management processes.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
