E-commerce Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Shopify store on a day-to-day basis, including:

  • Product listings and descriptions
  • Pricing updates
  • Product images
  • Banners and promotions
  • Store content and updates

• Monitor and maintain accurate online inventory, ensuring Shopify stock is aligned with physical inventory

• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies before they result in customer orders or complaints

• Process and monitor online orders through Shopify

• Coordinate closely with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment

• Serve as the point person for online order concerns, including:

  • Order status updates
  • Shipping inquiries
  • Returns
  • Customer complaints

• Develop and maintain the Shopify store's strategy, roadmap, and action plans

• Monitor basic sales and website traffic reports to identify trends and opportunities

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to improve daily workflows, including product listings, customer communication, and reporting

• Proactively identify store issues, errors, and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supporting an online store, e-commerce operations, or similar functions
• Strong and practical knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms
• Comfortable handling product listings, inventory, pricing, and order processing
• Highly detail-oriented and able to spot errors before they affect customers
• Able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
• Proactive and capable of planning and prioritizing tasks independently
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, especially when coordinating with warehouse teams and customers
