About the role

This role involves preparing and developing detailed FTTx network designs using the E-Design system, reviewing and optimizing network design solutions, and supporting FTTx end-to-end design activities. You will work with engineering tools to verify designs and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed FTTx network designs using the E-Design system
• Review, analyze, and optimize network design solutions to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform design updates and revisions in the E-Design system
• Support FTTx end-to-end (E2E) design activities, including OLT replacement, Block Splitter, Sync IM, and related processes
• Review design drawings and verify engineering data using S-GIS and related engineering tools
• Plan, prioritize, monitor, and manage assigned tasks to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing assigned responsibilities

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in FTTx network design or telecommunications engineering
• Good understanding of FTTx network architecture, engineering standards, and design principles
• Familiar with E-Design (True Network), including E2E processes such as OLT Replacement, Block Splitter, Sync IM, and related activities
• Knowledge of OLT equipment specifications and S-GIS is highly preferred
• Proficient in CAD software; experience with E-Design is a strong advantage
• Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication skills in English; Chinese language proficiency is an added advantage
