E-Discovery Assistant

Allensworth, a busy and growing commercial construction law firm, seeks a full-time E-Discovery Assistant in its downtown Austin office.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Assist with the identification, collection, and preservation of electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation matters
• Organize, upload, and maintain case data within eDiscovery review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, or similar)
• Prepare documents for review, including basic formatting, Bates labeling, and metadata quality checks
• Assist with document production, including redactions and privilege log support under attorney/paralegal direction
• Run basic searches and reports within review platforms to support case teams
• Maintain organized records of collections, productions, and case data trackers
• Coordinate with litigation support vendors on data transfers and platform access requests
• Provide general administrative support for discovery-related deadlines and case files
• Perform overflow work on an as-needed basis

Requirements

• B.A. preferred; coursework or interest in legal technology, paralegal studies, or litigation support a plus
• Strong attention to detail and comfort learning new software platforms
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe required; experience with an eDiscovery platform (Relativity, Everlaw, Reveal, or similar) a plus, not required
• This job may include lifting items up to 50 pounds
