E&I Design Engineer

Job Title: EI Design Engineer (Boiler)

Location: Pune

Role Purpose

Responsible for the design, engineering, and development of Electrical Instrumentation systems for industrial boiler projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, customer requirements, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation design documents for boiler systems.
• Develop wiring diagrams, control schematics, cable schedules, and panel layouts.
• Design PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control systems for boiler automation.
• Select and specify instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
• Prepare BOMs, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, project, and commissioning teams.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and customer technical discussions.

Education Experience

• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial automation systems is preferred.
