E&I Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to variety of field studies such as quality control, quality assurance, planning and drawing, in the projects.

• Provide information and assistance to project team and client on the engineering activities and related issues.

• Assisting on site installation and pre commissioning and commissioning, in the project site.

• To initiate trouble shooting, repair equipment & machinery, and resolving system breakdown, in the project site.

• Response to urgent fault reports and follow up the necessary actions to ensure the operation is not affected.

• Supervise and manage term contractors & workers of the Company, to ensure works are carried in accordance with contract specifications.

• Perform site inspection duties on assigned project to ensure worked performed complies with project standards and contract.

• Maintain proper documentation of letter of awards/contractual agreements.

• Responsible for compilation of activity reports as per monthly, weekly and daily.

• Attending the daily meeting with project managers & workers, in the project sites.

• Liaise with clients on the progress of the projects of the Company.

• Performing any other project related matters if required, as per assigned by project engineer/manager.

Accountabilities

The performance of the position will be measured against:

1. Compliance with the law & regulation governing the construction site.

2. Compliance with the contract specifications required by the clients.

3. Meeting the deadline required to complete the projects.

4. The extent of repair required on the projects due to non-performance, during the projects and during the retention period of the projects.

Qualification and Core Skills

• Diploma or University degree in Electrical Engineering Discipline.

• Strong planning and organization skills in handling a group of direct and indirect workforce.

• Good oral and written communication skills, in English, Malay and Mandarin language.

• Resourceful, self-motivated and result-oriented.

• Knowledge of project management and contract administration.

• Good initiative and able to work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
