E&I Engineer (Electrical and Instrumentation)

About the role

Electrical and Instrument maintenance engineer is responsible for planning, execution and controlling maintenance of process control system (PCS), field instrument, electrical equipment and site infrastructure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate repair and routine maintenance of Process Control Systems (PCS), field instruments, electrical equipment, and site infrastructure facilities.
• Control repair, maintenance, and calibration activities to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Improve work methods and plant process control equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop the skills and capabilities of subordinates through on-the-job training (OJT).
• Coordinate with concerned parties to ensure smooth execution of repair, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain and keep maintenance-related documentation and records up to date.
• Support process and production improvement by inspecting and installing new instrumentation and equipment, and modifying process control systems as required.
• Ensure adequate availability of electrical and instrumentation spare parts for plant equipment, process control systems, and site infrastructure facilities.
• Comply with applicable requirements under Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO).

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or other related fields
• At least 5 years of experience as a Process Control System Engineer and/or Instrument Engineer
• Good command of English
• Experience with Siemens PLC, TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC 7, and PCS 7
• Experience with CMMS / SAP
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control Systems
