E&I Engineer - HQ

About the role

E&I Engineer - Electrical and Instrument based in Kemaman, reporting to Technical Manager. The role involves managing site technical teams on project execution, monitoring project progress, implementing and developing detailed work programmes, and ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site technical teams on execution of projects
• Monitor the progress of projects and implement and develop detail work programme
• Prepare and update weekly progress reports and update management
• Prepare Job Completion Ticket (JCT) to client upon completion of the work
• Prepare Job Method Statement (JMS) and Job Safety Analysis (JHA) upon execution of the work
• Attend site visits at client premises and prepare site visit reports
• Prepare quotations for site visits attended
• Ensure good project management interfacing on projects awarded by clients
• Perform all electrical/instrument duties ensuring systems and procedures comply with policies and best practices
• Involve in tendering preparation including site visits and proposal preparation

About you

• Possess at least a Degree in Electrical/Instrument Engineering
• Have at least 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Familiar with electrical/instrument diagrams and drawings
• Good written and verbal communication skills and proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• A good team player able to establish effective and good working relationships with all levels of personnel
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, and AUTOCAD applications
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
• Experience in oil & gas environment is an advantage
• Valid Oil & Gas Safety Passport is an advantage
• Willing to travel outstation if required by company
