E&I Project Engineer

IEM Dynamic Sdn. Bhd. is looking for qualified and committed E&I Project Engineer to join our team for a refinery project in Klang Valley.

Job Type : Contract

Job Responsibilities :

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) project activities to ensure work progresses according to the project schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, supervisors and project teams to ensure smooth site operations.
• Review E&I drawings, technical specifications and project documents to ensure work meets project requirements.
• Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, material availability and work schedules.
• Prepare and update project reports, work schedules and other technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical or site-related issues in coordination with the project team.
• Ensure all E&I works comply with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations and refinery requirements.
• Coordinate site inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Attend project meetings and follow up on outstanding site issues to ensure timely completion of work.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in E&I projects, preferably in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical or other industrial projects.
• Good understanding of E&I installation works, electrical and instrumentation drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in site coordination, project progress monitoring and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with project HSE requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with clients and project teams.
• Candidates who can start immediately or within a short notice period will have an advantage.
