E&I QC Inspector (Panel)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To perform and inspect electrical wiring work on control panel.
2. Responsible for carrying out quality inspection activities on incoming, in-process and finished products to ensure conform to specifications
3. Assesses the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control
4. To conduct production in-progress inspection by working together with production team.
5. Prepare monthly quality report for those rejected or returned defect parts.
6. Works with QA/QC team to ensure the quality control program designed to make sure continuous production of products consistent with established standards is implemented and being followed.
7. Ensure acceptable uniform interpretation of defined technical and quality requirements
8. To manage proper filling for all ISO & QA/QC documentation and ensure all document are timely prepared and submitted.
9. Provide support and knowledge in quality related activities in project
10. Apply and work within appropriate controls related to Safety and Housekeeping.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCES

1. Candidate must possess at least Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding)
2. Certified AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 with RI (ISO/PCN/CSWIP) valid.
3. Have minimum 3 years work experience in supervision of welding in steel fabrication such as review / prepared WPS, PQR and WQT as per ASME Section IX.
4. Familiar with international material standards, pressure/process piping and pressure vessel codes, NDE and welding procedures, ASMECode,
5. Exposure with IECEx / Atex practices and procedures will be added advantage.
6. Experience in quality assurance/inspection experience in Oil & Gas or Steel industry is an advantage
7. Good in Microsoft Excel & Office.
8. Able to conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia
