E&M Project Manager

About the role

E&M project manager role supporting the design, tendering, implementing and T&C stages of E&M consulting services. You will work with Sales Director or Business Director as a trusted advisor to clients, analysing their needs and mapping products or services to their technical requirements. This includes technical consulting, proposal and RFP support, site meetings, and presales support with solution design and sizing for components including HVAC, electrical systems, and UPSs.

Key responsibilities

• Co-work with Sales Director or Business Director to serve as a trusted advisor to potential clients, analysing their needs and mapping products or services to their technical requirements
• Support technical proposals and respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs)
• Act as project manager to tackle and support secured E&M consulting services during design, tendering, implementing or T&C different stages
• Provide solution design and sizing including estimating hardware sizing and providing design assistance (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, UPSs)
• Manage project scope including cost, quality and time management with communication and people management

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Service, Automation, Industrial, Physics, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Technical Presales, or Product like Uninterruptible Power System & Electrical System, Cooling System, with Project Management or E&M fields
• Understanding of key components of datacentre including UPS, Cooling, Electricity
• Ability to manage project scope including cost, quality and time management with communication and people management
• Proficiency in 2D CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), MATLAB, or simulation software to review and adjust technical blueprints
• Experience in structure drafting for technical RFPs, RFIs, and compliance matrices
• Certificates with PRINCE2 or PMP will be an advantage
