Early Career Geotechnical Engineer

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll get variety and challenge from the start. Sitting in our Christchurch geotechnical team, you will be involved in large-scale ground investigation work for renewals projects, alongside technical design, analysis and interpretation. You will build practical experience and see how geotechnical decisions are made in the field and in design.

You will spend time outdoors on site and in the office, supported by experience people who are invested in helping you grow. Project locations vary, so you will have the opportunity to work in different parts of the country and will need to be comfortable travelling and staying away for periods of time, including several weeks on site when required.

What you’ll bring:

• One to three years’ relevant experience as either a geotechnical engineer or an engineering geologist .
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Initiative, curiosity, and an openness to take on new opportunities.
• Eagerness to get involved in fieldwork programmes across the country.
