Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Early Childhood Educator to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and early intervention strategies.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs, utilizing knowledge of special education practices.
• Foster a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns regarding their progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
• Incorporate age appropriate principles into the curriculum when appropriate, promoting independence and self-directed learning.

Experience

• Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting is essential.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management strategies is highly desirable.
• Experience in toddler care or working with students requiring special education services is a plus.
• Knowledge of literacy education techniques and tutoring strategies for young learners is beneficial.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.
