Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our education team in Chemor, Perak. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in shaping the foundational learning experiences of children. This role is central to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and is essential in establishing positive attitudes towards learning from the earliest stages.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum activities that promote cognitive development, creativity and critical thinking skills

• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery

• Assess children's development and progress, maintaining detailed records and sharing observations with parents and guardians

• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to ensure consistency in teaching approaches and care practices

• Maintain classroom materials, resources and learning spaces in good condition and age-appropriate condition

• Supervise children during mealtimes, outdoor play and other structured and unstructured activities

• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education, KAP, or an equivalent qualification.

• Patient, caring, and nurturing, with a genuine passion for working with children.

• Ability to create an engaging, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and attend to children’s needs effectively.

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages will be an added advantage.

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
