Early Childhood Educator – Support / Float

About the Role

As a Support/Float Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care across all age groups (from 6 weeks to 12 years). You will support room transitions, foster positive relationships with families, and help create tailored experiences for children with individual inclusion support needs.This role requires availability 5 days per week on a predictable 3-week rotating roster:

• Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Week 2: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Week 3: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

What We Are Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
• Experience caring for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Experience or confidence supporting children with individual inclusion needs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Valid First Aid HLTAID012, HLTAID011 - CPR HLTAID010, HLTAID009
• CHCPRT025 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
• Child Safe Training (Foundations and Advanced)
• Fire Safety Training Certificate
• Safe Food Handling Certificates.

Pay: $32.47 – $38.25 per hour
