Racine |Part-Time (20hrs a week)

2:30p-6:30pm M-F

Job Summary
Growing Tree Child Development Center is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Part-Time Early Childhood Educator to join our passionate team. This position is ideal for someone who values early learning and is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for young children. The successful candidate will support children’s development through play-based learning, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Promote children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with families
• Collaborate with co-teachers and center leadership
• Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DCF 251 regulations and center policies
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development
• Closer for program. End of the day duties to include but not limited to light cleaning, restocking, etc.

Qualifications

• At least 2 ECE college courses completed and enrolled for more. (Required)
• Experience in a licensed child care or early learning setting preferred
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet licensing requirements including background check and health screening
• Passionate about providing quality care and education to young children

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early childhood education: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Level 7 or higher on the WI Registry (Required)
