We’re looking for a dedicated Early Morning Cleaner to join our team in Loughborough. This is an important role within the venue, helping to ensure everything is clean, fresh and ready for our customers and team before the day gets underway.

As an Early Morning Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the standards our venues are known for. Working independently during the early morning, you’ll take pride in your work and ensure the venue is clean, presentable and ready for the day ahead.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning Excellence: Complete early morning cleaning duties to an extremely high standard, ensuring all relevant areas are clean, hygienic and well presented.
• Venue Presentation: Ensure customer-facing areas, washrooms, staff areas and back-of-house spaces are clean, tidy and ready for the start of trading.
• Attention to Detail: Take pride in the finer details, identifying and addressing areas requiring additional cleaning or attention.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow company cleaning procedures, health & safety requirements and safe working practices at all times.
• Venue Readiness: Help ensure the venue is fully clean, organised and ready for customers and colleagues at the start of each day.
• Team Communication: Work closely with management and the wider team, highlighting any cleaning, maintenance or presentation issues that require attention.

Requirements

• Cleaning Experience: Previous cleaning experience is preferred, although a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards are equally important.
• Reliability: Punctual, reliable and committed to attending scheduled early morning shifts consistently.
• Attention to Detail: Takes pride in their work, has an excellent eye for detail and is committed to maintaining extremely high cleaning standards.
• Work Ethic: Hardworking, organised and able to work independently while completing cleaning duties within the required timeframe.
• Availability: Able to commit to regular early morning shifts across the week, including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays on a regular basis.
• Communication: Able to communicate effectively with the management team and raise any issues or additional requirements when necessary.

• Pay & Gratuities: Hourly rates between £10.85 and £12.71 per hour, plus estimated gratuities averaging £0.95 per hour on top of your hourly rate.
