Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate science lessons that captivate early childhood learners
• Facilitate interactive experiments and activities that promote science learning, offer critical thinking, and develop problem-solving skills
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children during each session
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse STEM learning needs and developmental levels
• Collaborate with team members to plan educational programs and special events that enhance the science curriculum
• Communicate effectively with business owners , parents and guardians about STEM programs and promote science learning.

Skills

• Prior experience working with children in an educational facility or childcare setting is preferred; classroom supervising experience is highly valued.
• Must be available for during the day from morning in weekdays and weekend, holidays & long weekend.
• Proficiency in English is a strong plus; ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience in early childhood education principles and practices
• Passion for science education and ability to convey complex concepts in simple, engaging ways
• Excellent communication skills to connect with children, team members and Montessori-Daycare-Home school business owners
• Must have access to a reliable car. and willingness to travel within GTA: - 50% (preferred) and Must be residing within 10 kms from Streestville /Mississauga- L5M 2P4 location.
• Submit or agree to provide a police criminal record check, vulnerable sector check and immunizations, is mandatory for all successful applicants. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
