We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and flexible Admin Support / Early Years Educator to join our team.
This is a varied and interchangeable role, working closely with management to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Service and help ensure that administrative, regulatory and compliance requirements are maintained.
The primary focus of the role will be office and administrative duties. However, as an Early Years Service, flexibility is essential and the successful candidate will also be required to support the Early Years team and work directly with children when needed.

Additional casual hours may be available as required up to a maximum of 40 hours per week
Flexibility to work between 8.00am and 6.00pm is essential
Rate of Pay
The starting rate for candidates holding a QQI Level 5 qualification is €15.15–€15.75 per hour, depending on relevant experience.
Higher rates of pay may be offered to candidates with higher Early Years qualifications and/or significant relevant experience.
Main Responsibilities
The role will include:
Supporting management with the day-to-day administration of the Service
Maintaining accurate records, files and documentation
Assisting with regulatory and compliance requirements
General office duties including emails, telephone calls, filing and data entry
Supporting attendance, funding and other administrative systems
Maintaining confidentiality in relation to children, families, staff and Service information
Assisting management and the wider team as required
Working directly with children and supporting the Early Years team when necessary
Carrying out other reasonable duties appropriate to the role
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
Hold a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent that is recognised by the relevant Government Department for work in an Early Learning and Care setting

Have good written and verbal communication skills
Understand the importance of confidentiality and accurate record keeping
Be reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team
Be willing and able to work directly with children when required
Previous administrative experience within an Early Years Service and knowledge of regulatory and funding requirements would be an advantage.
This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys the organisational and administrative side of Early Years practice but who also wants to remain involved in the day-to-day life of an Early Years Service.
