Early Years Educator

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and learning in young children
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
• Support children's emotional well-being by providing reassurance, guidance, and positive reinforcement
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress and address individual needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and development
• Manage daily routines efficiently while demonstrating strong leadership in a team setting
• Uphold all health and safety regulations in accordance with childcare standards and policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
• Demonstrated management and leadership abilities within a childcare environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Valid childcare or nursery qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification) preferred
• A valid driving license is desirable for roles requiring transportation or home visits
• Pack away setting

Pay: £12.90 per hour
