Early Years Educator

Clare Family Resource Centre is currently recruiting an Early Years Educator to join our dedicated childcare team.

We provide high-quality care and education for children aged 1 year to school age. This role offers the opportunity to work across all age groups, from the Wobbler Room through to Preschool.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
• Support children through daily routines, care, and play experiences
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
• Promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe early years environment
• Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional early years team

Requirements

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education
• Previous experience in an early years or childcare setting
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and complete required documentation

Desirable

• QQI Level 6 or higher in Early Childhood Care and Education
• Additional relevant training or certifications
• Familiarity with Aistear, Síolta, and the AIM programme

Additional Information

• Appointment is subject to satisfactory Garda Vetting
• Candidates must be willing to undertake, or provide evidence of, Children First training and other mandatory early years training

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience and will align with Early Years Core Funding.

Pay: €15.00-€18.50 per hour
