Early Years Educator

We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic early years educator to join our friendly team at Muskham Preschool.

Muskham Preschool is at the heart of the community and prides itself on providing a happy, homely environment where children can build secure relationships, develop confidence and thrive in their learning.

This is a hands on role working closely with the Preschool Manager and the rest of our well-established small team.

The Role

As an early years educator you will help ensure we continue to provide a safe, welcoming and high quality environment for our children.

The role will include helping with the organisation of the preschool day, maintaining appropriate records and assisting with the smooth running of the setting.

you will play an important part in maintaining the friendly and supportive atmosphere of the preschool.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants must hold a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification or equivalent to and have a current DBS.

Experience working within an early years or childcare setting is required.

A First Aid qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working as part of a small team and wants to play an active role in the continued development of our preschool.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in childcare settings or nursery environments
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development stages
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
• Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or equivalent are preferred
• A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay: £12.71-£13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
