We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our friendly nursery team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a warm, nurturing environment.

About the Role
As part of our nursery team, you will help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. You will support children through meaningful play experiences, encourage their development, and work closely with colleagues and families to ensure each child receives the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive, safe and nurturing environment for all children in your care.
• Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that encourage children’s learning and development.
• Build warm and responsive relationships with children, supporting them through play and everyday routines.
• Observe children’s progress and wellbeing, helping to meet their individual needs.
• Work closely with parents and carers, sharing information about children’s development and daily experiences.
• Maintain a stimulating, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
• Follow nursery procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene at all times.
• Complete daily records, accident forms, registers and other relevant documentation accurately.
• Take responsibility as a Key Person for a group of children, supporting their learning journey.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high quality care and education throughout the nursery.

What We’re Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (minimum).
• Experience working within an early years setting.
• A good understanding of child development and the EYFS.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A caring, patient and positive attitude.
• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential.

Salary will be discussed at interview and will reflect experience and qualifications. Enhanced rates may be considered for candidates with higher level qualifications.

Pay: £13.22-£14.03 per hour
