The Role at a Glance

• Role: Early Years Practitioner

⏰ Hours: minimum of 4 hours per month (including weekends)

• Location: IKEA Sheffield
• Salary: £12.71 an hour

A Day in Your Shoes

• Engaging children in fun, educational play through a variety of exciting activities
• ️ Supporting the Manager in planning and delivering our activity programme
• Communicating professionally and warmly with colleagues, clients and parents
• Managing the safe entry and exit of children

⭐ Stepping up as a Key Worker when required

What You'll Need to Shine

• Experience working with children aged 3 to 11 years
• A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification, or Playworker Level 3 (pre-2014)
• ️ Creative flair to contribute to activity planning
• ️ Great communication skills with children and parents alike
• A true team player attitude
• The confidence to step up into a supervisory role when needed
