Early Years Room Leader

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join our dynamic Early Years team. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive, while leading and inspiring a dedicated team of educators.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Early Years practitioners, modeling best practice at all times.
• Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum aligned with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that meets all Tusla regulatory standards.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and guardians through clear, empathetic communication.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s development, keeping accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Years Education and Care (or equivalent recognized by DCEDIY).
• Level 7 or higher is a distinct advantage.
• Proven experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and early years regulations.

Pay: €17.00-€18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
