Early Years Modern Assitant

EARLY YEARS ASSISTANT, PART TIME, TERM TIME

Due to increasing numbers, we are looking for an experienced Early Years Assistant to join our small, friendly team at our new ELC in Carnoustie.

Hours: Initially around 15 hours per week expected to be around 9.30am – 2.30pm
Days and hours may vary depending on the needs of the setting, so flexibility is essential.

What will you be doing?

You will be an important part of the team, helping with:

• Children's meals and snack times
• Children's personal and intimate care
• Cleaning and housekeeping
• Supporting the day-to-day care, learning and wellbeing of the children
• Helping to keep our setting running smoothly

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who already has experience working with younger children aged 2-5 and ideally in an early-years setting. You will be confident with the practical, hands-on responsibilities of caring for young children. This is not a trainee or first early years role.

You will require to have, or be willing to undertake, Food Hygiene, Infection Control and Paediatric First Aid training.

Looking ahead...

As our service grows, we expect the role to develop, with opportunities for additional days and hours. Our longer-term aim is for this to become a Monday- Friday, term-time role.
