Location: NearEdgware/Pinner, Middlesex, HA8
Salary: £13.50-£14.00ph / Circa £29,120pa (depending on experience)
Hours: Permanent, All Year Round, 40 hours per week, 4.5 days

• Monday–Thursday: 7:45am – 5:30pm
• Friday: 7:45am – 2:00pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Early Years Practitioner or/and Room Leader to join our friendly team near Edgeware, HA8.

The nursery provides a nurturing, home-from-home environment for babies and toddlers, with a strong focus on creating a safe, caring and stimulating space where children can feel secure, develop their independence and thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Early Years professional who is passionate about leading a team and maintaining the high standards of care and support provided to children and their families. We are looking for either a Senior Practitioner or Room Leader to join our Toddler room!

This role is ideal for a nursery practitioner looking to step up and eventually take on a Room Leader role, or an experienced room leader ready and seeking a new long term challenge!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children’s interests, ages and development.
• Observe, assess and plan next steps in line with the EYFS.
• Maintain accurate records and learning journeys for key children.
• Follow safeguarding, health, hygiene and safety procedures, reporting any concerns appropriately.
• Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting the wider nursery team when required.

About You:

• Qualified Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare
• Previous Nursery or Childcare Experience
• Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
• Able to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Right to work in the UK.
