What they need
Triangle House Nursery is looking for a warm, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our lovely team.
If you’re passionate about Early Years and genuinely enjoy watching children learn, grow and develop, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a kind individual to join our team. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone works together to give our children the best possible start.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing high-quality care, support and learning experiences for children.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities based around children’s interests, development and individual needs.
- Supporting children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Taking responsibility for a group of children and building strong, positive relationships with them and their families.
- Completing observations and contributing to children’s learning journeys and progress.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment both indoors and outdoors.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care and learning.
- Building positive relationships with parents and sharing information about their child’s day, learning and development.
- Supporting daily routines including mealtimes, sleep times, personal care and transitions.
- Following nursery policies and procedures to ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Ideally holds a recognised Level 2 / 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent,
- Has experience working within an early years setting, or a willingness to learn.
- Is passionate about providing children with exciting and meaningful learning experiences.
- Is caring, patient and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
- Is able to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Works well as part of a team but is also confident using their own initiative.
- Is reliable, organised and able to adapt to the busy nature of nursery life.
- Is enthusiastic and happy to get involved – whether that’s painting, dancing, exploring outdoors or getting covered in playdough!
- Has a positive attitude and is keen to continue learning and developing professionally.
If you’re looking for a role where you can have fun, get creative, make a difference and be part of a lovely team, we’d love to hear from you.
