Early Years Practitioner

Responsibilities-

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children using our curriculum
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Provide individualised care and attention to meet the needs of each child
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Observe and assess children's development and progress
• Collaborate with parents to support children's learning and development
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and incidents
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the program

Skills-

• Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences for young children
• Patience, empathy, and understanding in working with children
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of individual children
• Have a strong knowledge of safeguarding and Prevent
