Early Years Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years practitioner to join our friendly, dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. You will play a crucial role in shaping their early experiences and fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track progress.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive approach to early years education.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices in childcare.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children is essential.
• A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
