Early Years Practitioner

1. Have a sound understanding of a play-based approach to children's learning and development.

2. Have good basic knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

3. Have good knowledge of the Key Person system & be able to carry out observations, assessments and planning for several Key Children.

4. Have a positive attitude, be motivated, adaptable, kind & caring.

5. To be enthusiastic, use own initiative and able to think creatively to enhance children’s learning and development.

6. To want to grow in experience, be able to reflect on and expand their own practice & professional development.

7. To have good communication skills both written and verbal.

8. To work well within a staff team to provide a caring and happy, safe and stimulating environment.

9. Work in closely in partnership with the parents/carers.

10. Ensure confidentiality is always upheld.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.95-£13.10 per hour
