Early Years Practitioner

At Little Explorers, we provide a warm, supportive and inspiring environment where children aged 9 months to 4 years can learn, explore and grow. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and, most importantly, passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and dedicated team.

We will also consider Level 2 qualified practitioners who are currently working towards a Level 3 qualification, or who are committed to completing a Level 3 qualification in the near future.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Little Explorers family, helping to create engaging learning experiences and supporting young children through the early stages of their development. We currently have 2 and 3 day positions available.

The Role

• 2 and 3 day positions available
• Working hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Term Time + Holiday Cover
• Working with children aged 9 months to 4 years
• Supporting children's learning and development through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality childcare and education

Salary

• 16 to 17 years: From £8.00 per hour
• 18 to 20 years: From £11.00 per hour
• 21+ years: From £13.00 per hour

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, or a Level 2 qualification with a commitment to achieving Level 3
• Be passionate about providing outstanding care and education
• Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Be caring, enthusiastic, reliable and motivated
• Enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team
• Be committed to helping every child reach their full potential
