Barrowford Preschool Nursery are offering the opportunity for a warm, friendly, caring, creative and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their Outstanding nursery team!

Our nursery is a well-established Early Years Setting who has an ‘Outstanding’ grading in all areas, with our last inspection being August 2025. So, as you may expect we have very high expectations of our practitioners, however we are committed to supporting the right person to achieve our standards.

The setting is a family run business which has been providing a wide range of high quality learning and development opportunities to children in the surrounding communities for over 40 years.

The children at nursery would like someone who is kind, nurturing, fun and likes to play outside with them!

Candidates MUST possess:-

• An excellent knowledge of the development of children and have experience in the planning of engaging and challenging learning opportunities.

• A passion to develop enticing learning environments within the setting.

• Pride in the opportunities which they are able to provide to the children in their care.

• A positive and passionate approach to self-development, superb practice and teamwork.

• The ability to self-reflect on own practice in order to positively develop.

• Professionalism and a positive attitude to the safe care of children.

• A hardworking approach and a commitment to the role.

• Have an Early Years Qualification to a minimum of Level Two.

• Have experience of working within an Early Years Setting, particularly with age 2-3 years.
