Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 or 3

Trinity Child Care is an established nursery in Rotherhithe, Southwark, with over 40 years of experience providing high-quality care and early years education.

We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team.

The role

As an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner, you will help provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5 years.

You’ll:

• Support children’s learning and development through play and engaging activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Act as a key person and support children’s individual needs and development.
• Observe and contribute to children’s learning records and assessments.
• Support daily routines including meals, sleep, personal care and outdoor play.
• Work as part of a supportive team to maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and hygiene.
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the nursery’s policies and procedures.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Has experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Is caring, reliable, enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children.
• Has good communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
