About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Functional/Data SME with strong expertise in Oracle EBS Financials and Projects modules , underlying database tables, data relationships, and business processes.

The candidate will work closely with Microsoft Fabric Data Engineers, Power BI Developers, and business stakeholders to translate Oracle EBS business processes into technical data requirements, validate source-to-target mappings, investigate data discrepancies, and ensure reporting solutions accurately reflect the underlying business context.

This role requires a combination of Oracle EBS functional expertise, data analysis, SQL, and strong stakeholder management skills .

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert on Oracle EBS table structures, data relationships, and business processes across Financials and Projects modules.
• Partner with Fabric data engineers and PBI developers to validate source-to-target mappings, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and explain EBS business logic behind transactional and reference data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist Power BI developers in interpreting EBS-sourced datasets to ensure reports and dashboards reflect correct business context.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, mapping gaps, and reconciliation discrepancies between EBS and Fabric.
• Document EBS table structures, data lineage, and business rules to build institutional knowledge and reduce dependency on individual resources.
• Collaborate with client finance, procurement, and IT stakeholders to clarify functional requirements and validate reporting outputs.

Financial Core: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Secondary Ledgers, Project Accounting, Time Sheets, Colleague Expenses, People Performance

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (Financials and/or Projects modules), including strong knowledge of underlying table structures and data flows.
• Proven experience translating EBS functional/business processes into technical data requirements for BI/analytics teams.
• Exposure to ETL/data pipeline and power BI concepts; prior exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a strong plus. Experience with SQL for data investigation and validation.
• Strong communication skills to work across functional and technical teams, including direct client interaction."
