Duties

• Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Support children during daily routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Engage children in interactive learning experiences that incorporate basic math concepts, language development, and creative play
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere
• Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, by implementing individualized strategies under supervision
• Observe and document children's progress to inform teaching strategies and support developmental milestones

Skills

• Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood settings is highly valued
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
• Ability to assist with teaching foundational skills in math, literacy, and social-emotional learning
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a lively and positive classroom environment
