We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic Reliever Cooks to support Early Childhood Education (ECE) centres across the Wellington area. In this role, you will step in to prepare nutritious, delicious meals and snacks for children from birth to 5 years old, keeping centre kitchens running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing wholesome morning teas, lunches, and afternoon teas following centre menus and dietary requirements (allergies, cultural preferences, etc.).
• Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Managing kitchen prep, dishwashing, and tidying up.
• Collaborating warmly with the teaching team to keep meal times running on schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience or Passion: Experience cooking in an ECE centre, school, commercial kitchen, or preparing meals for groups in community settings.
• Food Safety Awareness: Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safe food handling (a Food Safety Certificate is a plus, but not strictly required).
• Flexibility & Reliability: Happy to work on an on-call or casual basis across different local centres.
• Warm Personality: A positive, adaptable, "can-do" attitude and great communication skills.
