Job Summary And Qualifications Echo Vascular Technician

We are currently seeking an Echocardiogram Technician (Echo Tech) on a FT basis in our Vascular Lab. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now!

As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read
• Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system
• Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital
• Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations
• Must be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians
• RVT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Meditech knowledge
• 1 to 3 years of experience
