Echocardiography Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified Echocardiography Technician to join our dynamic cardiovascular team. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality echocardiographic imaging and diagnostic evaluations to assist cardiologists in diagnosing and managing heart conditions. Your expertise will contribute to accurate cardiac assessments, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a small fast paced medical environment, utilizing advanced imaging technology and clinical skills to improve patient outcomes.

Duties

• Operate echocardiography equipment to produce detailed ultrasound images of the heart’s structure and function, including 2D, Doppler, and stress echocardiography studies.
• Analyze cardiac rhythm data and vital signs during imaging procedures to support comprehensive diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic evaluations in electronic health records and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

Experience

• Proven experience in echocardiography or cardiovascular technology, with a strong understanding of cardiac physiology and anatomy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and diagnostic evaluation techniques related to cardiovascular health.
• Experience operating advanced medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, PACS systems, and other diagnostic tools used in cardiology practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a focus on patient safety and comfort.
