Hope Cardiology is a new, physician-owned outpatient cardiology practice in Conroe, Texas, seeking an experienced PRN Echo & Vascular Technologist/Sonographer to join our growing practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sonographer who enjoys a flexible schedule and wants to work in a physician-led outpatient cardiology setting.

Position

PRN Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer / Echo Technologist

Location: Conroe, TXSchedule: PRN / Flexible, based on patient volumeCompensation: Competitive per-study compensation based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound studies, including:

• Transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE)
• Stress echocardiograms
• Carotid duplex ultrasound
• Lower-extremity arterial duplex studies
• Lower-extremity venous duplex studies
• Assist with additional vascular ultrasound studies as the practice expands
• Obtain complete, technically adequate images according to established protocols
• Perform appropriate measurements, Doppler imaging, spectral Doppler and color flow imaging
• Ensure studies are properly labeled, completed and transferred to the practice PACS for physician interpretation
• Maintain excellent patient communication and comfort throughout the examination
• Maintain equipment and report any technical or equipment concerns
• Follow HIPAA, infection-control and patient-safety standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience performing diagnostic echocardiography
• Comfortable independently performing carotid, lower-extremity arterial and lower-extremity venous duplex studies
• Strong understanding of 2D imaging, color Doppler and spectral Doppler
• Ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images with minimal supervision
• Professional communication and strong patient-care skills
• Reliable and able to work independently in an outpatient environment

Preferred:

• Experience with stress echocardiography
• RDCS and/or RVT credential
• ARDMS, CCI or equivalent credentials
• Experience in an outpatient cardiology practice
• Experience with GE ultrasound systems
• Experience with DICOM/PACS workflows

Hope Cardiology is a physician-owned outpatient cardiology practice focused on providing accessible, comprehensive cardiovascular care to the Conroe and Montgomery County community.

Our practice provides cardiology consultations and a broad range of diagnostic cardiovascular services, allowing patients to receive much of their cardiac testing conveniently in one location.

The practice utilizes a GE Vivid iQ cardiovascular ultrasound system and digital PACS/DICOM workflow.
